From a distance everything looks flawless but once you get closer the imperfections are clear. We need to becareful with what we are looking at or precede to be. It’s best to see and know the imperfections ahead of time to avoid surprises. Do you know what your really looking at? Many of us have learned how to hide our pain and secrets but as time goes by they slowly emerge and the make up washes off and the real you comes forth. What an eye opener it will be for many who thought they knew what they had just to discover it wasn’t so. We ourselves might even be surprise on who the real us is also.

Today’s positive word is integrity, so many people claim to have it until there back is against the wall. If you don’t stand for something what’s the point of standing literally. Having integrity allow others to realize your one that can be trusted. Sometimes people do things just because they want recognition or to impress others but when you have good ethics and integrity you will act the same regardless if there’s a crowd or not. Where to you stand on doing what’s right for yourself and others. Are you a flip flopper? There is nothing wrong with being someone who is honesty, trustworthy, dependable and wholesome why wouldn’t you want these as characteristic that describe who you are? Being able to believe in someone word is huge as if you can’t believe what comes out someone’s mouth what’s the point of being around them. There are times we need to reflect on those we associate with and see if they are worth keeping in your close circle. Can you count on them? Perhaps they always count on you it can’t be a one way street you can’t just give and give and when you need never receive. Just because you do good things don’t make you a door mat, you need to know that your circle truly represent who you are. If not open up that circle and let those negative spirits go as they are no use anyway.

When to be honest?

Can you be honest at all times?

It’s pretty easy to say,” “Sure, I’ll be honest. Sounds like a noble idea. Why not?” But you will never truly know if you are capable of honesty until you are tested. Honesty is not easy. It carries with it great rewards, but it is hard to put into action in certain situations.”

This passage is from a book I am currently reading and it truly makes you wonder why we usually use ethics when it’s favor us more so than its the right thing to do. So many excuses we come up with. Sometimes we may feel that we have no impact so we allow things to pass by without thinking twice. You find a bag of money you don’t turn it over to authority you keep it and say God bless me with it. But did he or does it belong to someone who loss it and may need it just as bad as you, is it fair?
